After 35 years I am going to break down and sell my car. It is a 1959 BN6 with overdrive that works perfectly. It looks and runs good. It has a BMH certificate and has been driven constantly the whole time that I have owned it. It was painted about 15 years ago, and new interior (other than seat) installed about 10 years ago. I bought 4 new wires just a couple years ago, and a new top
I am a basketball junkie whose knees are shot and it is just tougher for me to drive nowadays and takes some of the enjoyment out of it. It isn’t a show card, but is very nice looking and drives well. Even the darned turn signals and horn work. Only the fuel gauge does not and I think it is the sender
I never ever thought I would part with this car, but always told myself, ‘If you are ever to the point you stop driving it regularly, sell it’. I am at that point.
