My father, Joe Wood, has a 1961 Red Austin Healey Sprite that he wants to sell that's original and in pretty good condition. It has a hard top and a rag top, though I've been informed that the hard top needs a little work and the seats may need to be restored, other than that, it runs really well. It's registered with the Washington state as a collector car. He's looking to sell it for about $5,000. I have a few other photos too if you would like them (they were too big to include in this email).

I am a long time aficionado of British cars and especially the AH, having owned three Marques plus a Sprite. I also was a long time member of the Pacific Centre Club and still have most of my Healey Highlights Magazine from 1977 to 1999. I presume they are rather collectible.
Sadly the attached pictures are of my 1966 AH (which I purchased in 1974 after it had been restored) that was hit in the right front in 1978. The car has been moved several times since then. All to places where it was presumably to be repaired/restored. Alas, nothing ever happened other than my car getting more and more abused!
It was moved last year from a place it had been for the previous six years and the man did nothing even though I gave him some “up front” money. And of course, he does not have the money now!
I have kept her all these years with hope and several efforts at restoring, but with virtually no success (obviously). With great deliberation and acceptance that I have neither the time nor money for a restoration, I have decided to part with her.
